About Mobile Ticketing

Mobile ticketing is the new environmentally friendly and cheaper alternative to paper tickets.

We provide a simple, cheaper solution using mobile phone technology to produce barcodes on the mobile phone rather than the average regular barcode. Scanned directly from a mobile phone, this revolutionary solution is catching on among many retailers, promoters and organizers globally. Mobile ticketing is what we specialize in.

We cover all sorts of event ticketing. Since 2007, Activemedia's Mobile Ticketing Platform has powered the tixmob ticketing portal, and provides an end to end online and mobile ticketing service which out of the box can cater for all requirements relating to event ticketing.

How does mobile ticketing work?

It's simple:

The Customer purchases a ticket online through our ticketing portal
The customer recieves a unique Barcode and pin number to their mobile phone in real-time
The customer attends the event and the barcode is scanned directly from their mobile phone allowing them entry

What our mobile ticketing portal includes

White labeled consumer facing portal complete with CMS system. Presentation is via normal web or mobile web.
Portal incorporates full shopping cart and payment processing
Fully integrated credit and debit card payment built into consumer portal

Integration into 3rd party PSPs, e.g. Protx, Paypal
Integration into Paypal mobile for mobile payments
Payment process integrated into the web journey
3D Secure built into journey (Mastercard Securecode, verified by Visa etc).

Web based administration platform

Fully create your events and get them displayed on the consumer portal automatically
Create different types of ticket, venues, acts.
Full end consumer "box office" support. Handle consumer lost tickets, broken phones, transferring tickets etc.

Delivery of tickets to mobile phone and email. Each ticket delivered contains a 2D barcode.

Various forms of barcode supported
Mobile device database maintained which renders mobile tickets to individual handsets based on their capability. Delivery done via SMS, Binary SMS, MMS or WAP Link as appropriate.
Email tickets are also optionally sent to the consumer, to allow them the choice of bringing either Print At Home Email ticket or Mobile Ticket.
